All childcare service providers including but not limited to:

• Long day care
• Outside school hours care
• Vacation care
• Pre-schools
• Kindergartens

should have insurance to cover their property such as buildings and/or contents (play equipment, softfall, shade sails, office equipment etc) against events such as storms, fire, burglary etc. We would also recommend that childcare services insure against loss of income and the extra cost to set up somewhere else if the premises was destroyed or damaged and not fit for use. (Business Interruption Insurance).
